Airline Can't do Signs

Airline can't do signs are very outdated. How many people really need to be told to not smoke on airplanes these days? It seems to me, when you travel by air, the only things you can do sometimes and not others are lean back in your seat, talk on you cell phone, and use you electronic devices. So how about a light for that instead of that no smoking light that is always on, we have a 4 icon signal.

One icon for when you can lean your seat back
One icon for when you can use your cell phone
One icon for when you can use your non-signal receiving electronic devices
And finally, one icon for when you have to wear your seat belt.

Catch the bad guys, not girls

I'm so sick of hearing about the local TV station sting of some escort service. Of course this is done for ratings as all the wifes, girlfriends, and busybodies tune in to see if their man or someone they know has been listed as one of the customers. And all the guys tune in to see if they are one of their friends have been likewise, listed.

And after the sting is over, do we really have a better community? Are the guys unfortunate enough to get caught now going to clean their lives up? Or will they just be more careful next time?

What I would really like to see is the same sting operations put in place to catch the low life that steal stereos out of cars, mug people on the street, drug deals and worse. Why not start simple and setup a sting with a car with a nice stereo and the doors unlocked sitting on any street where the crime of stealing the stereo (or car for that matter) will happen frequently. Of course it is not exciting enough to attract viewers, but it would work. It would catch bad people doing bad things.

The same sting could be done with a decoy victim to catch would be muggers and rapists.

Bottom line, I sleep better knowing we are spending more energy trying to keep car thieves, muggers and rapists behind bars than woman trying to make a living and putting some smiles on peoples faces.

Meoshpere

This is a great idea. Meoshpere is a site that you can create and fill out lists of what you have done, seen, owned, viewed, read, etc...

What I would like to see from this is a type of life score to compare to the average or to others. I want to know how I stand up to others and this is a good place to start.

Get Paid to View

I would like the option to opt into an ad and get paid a few cents to view commercials. I would be willing to fill out a few simple questions at the end of the commercial to help prove that I really took it all in. For example, click here to earn 25 cents. From there I would watch a 15 to 30 second video and then spent 10 seconds filling out a survey/test. Or perhaps it would be a click her for a chance to win a dollar with the chance of winning one in four.

Another option would be to feel free to SPAM my inbox. Just pay me ten cents per email and another dollar if I read the email.

I would also be willing to answer telemarketers if they were paying me 50 cents per minutes to listen to them.

No kids until after 30

Would the world be better off if no one reproduced until they were 30 years old or older? I'm thinking yes. I'm not sure how to make this happen, but I'm very happy to hear some ideas.

PG tracks for DVDs

What I would really like is this...

I want the "Edited for TV" language track as an option on DVDs.

I often find myself wanting to watch movies with children around. Problem is the version on the DVD for movies with the PG13 and above rating have all the words that you really don't want children hearing. To me, the "adult" language really does not add to my overall enjoyment of the movie. If there was a version on the DVD menu that allowed me to select the "made for TV version", I think I would use it often. At least much more often than any of the other extra features on the DVD that I never use.

The Caffeine Patch

What I would really like is this...

When the alarm goes off in the morning, I hit the snooze alarm and then reach for a caffeine patch that I slap on any piece of my skin that happens to be exposed at the time. When the alarm goes off again, the caffeine has started to do it's job and I'm ready to face another day.

The patches could come in several colors and strengths and absorption rates. The could be worn privately or exposed to make a point. They could be passed out at the beginning of 8am meetings with company logos printed on the top side. You could keep on in the car for the late night drive to use if you feel yourself growing sleepy. You could keep one in your day planner to use if you feel yourself falling asleep in a meeting that is lasting way longer than it should.

I'm liking this idea.

Somebody do this...please!
